Duvel Moortgat is an independent family business that distinguishes itself through its focus on specialty beers. The fourth generation of the Moortgat family has continuously invested in the brewery since its founding in 1871 with the aim of maintaining and improving their high quality. Duvel Moortgat has 13 breweries.
In addition to the brewery in Puurs-Sint-Amands, the portfolio includes Brasserie d’Achouffe in Houffalize, Brouwerij De Koninck in Antwerp, Brouwerij Liefmans in Oudenaarde, Brasserie du Mont-Blanc in France, the Bernard Brewery in the Czech Republic, Brewery Ommegang in New York, Boulevard Brewing Company in Kansas City, Firestone Walker in California, Brouwerij ’t IJ in Amsterdam, Birrificio del Ducato in Italy, and CHABA Brewing and Tianjin Brewery in China.
